check out Coldplay's "Strawberry Swing" music video, it's freaking awesome and the song is great too.

Other songs for now like," Heartless" by Kris Allen, i love his rendition of it, not that i do not like Kanye or something.

"You Give Love a Bad Name" by Bon Jovi. Yup I'm a Jovi fan after all and well nothing can compare with this song, freaking awesome. Almost every pub will play this song.

And lastly, "Neon Tiger" by The Killers. Man this song is beautiful by itself. The lyrics, rhythm, vocals and instruments all sounds good.

Yea these are some of my favorite songs and if you don't like them, there's always the "MUTE" button, haha kidding no offense, but if you find it too noisy for your liking, you can always press the 'STOP' button located on the 'ITouch' itself.

Man it's a wonder how i could concentrate and perform well in class today after boozing last night. Made a new friend called Jim Beam and man was he strong.

Haha ook for all those who thought i turned gay, Jim Beam is a liquor and it's pretty strong.

Yea was suppose to have another session today but well,my liver was telling me to give him a break by hurting me. Yea for some reason it's hurting but it's alright now.

Happened to witness this at the Japanese Supermarket Liang Court over at Clark Quey last Friday, before the fateful session.


So as you can see, it is not like the NTUC or Sheng Shong you see under your block.

They would have this corner for Parents to put their kids to curb their enthusiasm and to just sit there and calmly watch Doreamon.

I got there a little and well i stumbled across this and decided to join them. Heck it was Doreamon in it's original voice and had English subtitles plus i had almost 30 minutes to kill.

Wow, kinda felt like a big baby but well who cares, my skin is thick.

As you can see in the picture, they were more interested in their Nintendo DS rather than watching but unlike them, i was engrossed in the adventure. Maybe they saw it a million times already.
It was nice to watch, humor with a certain sense of justice in a sense that if you get greedy, it will only bite you in the ass.

No wonder May May loves to watch it so much.

Kind of a smart move to install such a place for the kids but unlike most kids you see in the supermarkets now, they actually sit down and watch or play with their DS.

Heck! It helped me kill some time too.

So if you are too early or your friend made you wait, head over to Liang Court basement Japanese Supermarket to watch Doreamon, who knows, you might run into me with my new Japanese Friends !

Took a color blind test today and phew and i am not color blind, prefect score. Wow full marks for a test, a rare sight but at least i know i still have my somewhat good eyesight.

My buddy Raveen bought us Red Bull today. On the record, I do not drink Red Bull that early in the morning but i though i should give it a shot. Man i was freaking hyper and so were those who drank.

My brain was moving at a 110% which is a huge jump. It only moves about 60% on a normal day.

Haha i guess we were like monkeys on Red Bull, Red Monkeys huh.

Finish watching 24 season 7 and as usual, a cliffhanger ending.



A freaking good show with the many twist and turns in the plot. Jack Bauer is one bad ass. So many things are starting to unfold. It even link stories from season 1, man freaking good script writing.

Oh well gotta wait till January 2010 for season 8.


Moving on to other series now, House season 6 for the moment.

I had to wash my jeans due to puke and booze stain.

To my horror, i forgot i left my earpiece inside my pocket. I quickly took it out, hook it into my IPhone to test it out without caring the fact that i could be electrocuted.

Phew, it worked fine and on the plus side, it smelt good. Good as in Good Good. Like a bed of Roses.

Memory Loss + It's A Freaking Sunday

have been about a day plus after the major drinking session and I'm still trying to piece the puzzle of the events together.

I can remember how it started and ended but not everything in between. Kinda like from an episode of FlashForward.

Damm but i remember puking outside and my buddy dumping me into the taxi to avoid the police nabbing people involved in the fight.

Man i do not even remember how i lost my camera, fuck shit.

Circle of life, I am sure you have heard of it.

Nothing goes to waste. Nature will make sure nothing goes to waste and the same do our society.

Left over food will be taken by birds or weirdos and garang guni will take everything you do not want, conning you in the process, yea a TV for 10 bucks!? No matter how old, it cost mor ethan that.

So it applies everywhere.

My folks are clearing up the house, emptying the store room and dumping some of the old toys under the block.

On my way back, i saw this family rampaging through the stuff and leaving a huge mess. It was not easy seeing your old toys taken away by people but well at lease it will add fun to their life. Even so they should not leave such a huge mess.

Well people like that exist but there's nothing you can do.

Feel Good

Man life has really been a routine for me these days,

wake up early, rush for the train, brush shoulders with jerks, squeeze in the bus, get to school, become brain-dead in class, then revived after school ends.

Yea pretty much a simple but tedious routine.

It feels.... meaningless at times huh? I'm sure many of you know how i feel.

Moral goes down and so does happiness levels.

What do you do when the things you think are correct are actually wrong and what you should be doing is what you though was wrong.

Man, i lost touch with myself, nothing a bottle of beer won't help but i can't always rely on Mr. Heineken forever.I can't expect him to build a time machine or something of that sort. Not everyone out there can give you a direction to follow.

So well research have shown, that by working out or exercising, it will relief some of the pain or misery or stress.
The after workout feel, will release a endorphins that makes you happy. Well it's true, i tried it out just now, you feel a little more carefree than usual, feel good and look good.

What a perfect combination!

But the down side, it only last a couple of hours until reality hits back at you.

Haha i sound emo huh, well nobody can be happy forever ain't it.

Well that's life after all, nothing is scripted and nothing is what it seems.

I'm sure you know i am a '24' nut now and you can say i am a '24' addict.

So at times, I do get bored at home and well Lucky and I would role play, as in acting as characters in the series.(No i'm not crazy)

Instead of 24 hours, it would be 24 seconds.

I play Jack Bauer and Lucky would play Tony Almeda. Both are main characters from the series.

Our mission are usually to blow the kitchen when my mom boil those horrible herbs. They say those herbs are good but why do they have to taste so bad.

We would hide behind walls and prompt each other to go from bound to bound.

As you can see, we have never really succeed in our mission and usually captured in 24 seconds and drown in the herbal soup as a form of torture.

Spent some time watching 24 again, wo man, those in bud earpiece are freaking awesome, zone me out from the rest of my world and to just focus on the show. Went for some good old drinking and live band watching on Friday with my buddies. I haven't laughed my ass off that much for a long time. It was really good to meet them again and well i hope we can meet more often, funny bunch.

We did not really drink that much but Han Wei(2nd from right) and Meng Yan(1st from the right) sure did order a lot of cocktails.

Mann woo spent my entire weekend watching 24 season 7.

It's freaking awesome, just can't stop watching the show, so freaking addictive, just watching 1 episode after another, i guess i was bitten by the 24 bug.

I dunno why May May don't enjoy that show, well i know for a fact that my mom heart cannot take the suspense of the show, she was at the edge of her seats when i watched the previous seasons with her in the past.

May May would have fainted i guess, haha.

The plot has as many twist as ever, unexpected outcomes and man Jack Bauer's interrogation techniques man it gets more intense every episode.

Still have 1/2 a season more to watch, cannot wait to continue later and the good news's that season 8 is coming out.

Weird Day


we had today, was so freaking hot this morning and poosh, it's raining cats and dogs.
Man, it got freaking cold, i miss that kind of weather. It''s always a good welcome for a cool weather.

Haha Jeolyn and i had a hard time climbing up the stairs today. Well if you refer to yesterday's post, my legs are jelly from gym but for Jeo, she hurt her's while playing badminton in her sleep, haha i guess.

Yea like the girl in the picture i found on the web and know i have no idea how she is. it's just a freaking picture.

Worked out in the gym today and man my muscles are trashed and i have grown bout 40% weaker. That's bad.

After working on my legs, i couldn't even walk. I was walking in 1 direction but my legs were walking to another.

It was jello and i looked funny walking. Jumped onto a seat to prevent being laughed at by people around till i can control my legs to walk straight.

Even though I was shagged out the after work out effect, it felt good.

But that's half of the story.

Now the other task is to walk home. Man every step was agony, i could barely stand in the train and let alone walk straight.

Haha but well i did make it back to type this entry.

Yup we did not pay a single cent for last night's dinner at the Asian Kitchen over at Ion.

Why you ask?

Ok here's what happened >

May May and i have dined at Asian Kitchen over at City link so many times that even the waiter there recolonizes us. So he urged us to sign up for the Asian Kitchen thingy membership.

Which allows 10% rebates which you can use the next time when you dine at any Asian Kitchen restaurant to minus off the total sum and 15% when you dine within 7 days.

Wow, they even gave us $28 dollars voucher which we used last night to minus off the total sum and the rebate points.

So we did not pay a single cent.

How much the membership cost?

Ans:$28 dollars

hm..well..ar..
so last night dinner wasn't free but 'free' after all.

Ow anyway the food there is great but pricey and the portion ain't that huge but it quality and not quantity that counts.

Went to catch Funny People with May May today.


I love Sandlers' movies but this movie was eh ..forgettable i must say. The jokes were funny, don't get me wrong but the story is weak.
Had a lot of guest appearances like Andy Dick, Ray from everybody loves Raymond and even Enimen. Girls a couple of rows in front screamed when they saw him.

Man those stupid girls, watched too much Gossip Girls like drama and i guess they think they are American bimbos.

All in all the movie's funny but forgettable, kinda disappointing but hey it isn't Zohan.

Mooncakes Mooncakes

Lanterns

That's what's the lunar festival is about, minus the mooncakes and the full moon which was absent dude to cloudy weather.

We got home from our vegetarian dinner, which was lovely btw, i always wondered how do they make vegetables taste like meat? I won't be surprise people will make meat taste like vegetable, well some (bad) cooks are able to make chicken meat taste like fish.

But that's a topic for some other time.

We got home around 8 plus and took out the lanterns and candles and started getting to work.

Has been a while since May May and i played with lanterns and 1 caught on fire while i was setting it up, well, we like seeing things burn but not my house.

May May as usual laughed at me.:x

After about 10 minutes of setting up, we attached the lanterns to a plastic stick and ran around the house like kids.

We had a couple of mooncakes after that and we tried the "Fruit" Mooncakes and trust be, it sucked bad.

Well there were other kinds of mooncakes we tried man woo, green tea flavored and much more.

As we left the lanterns there till the candles extinguishes, we sat around and watched Tv.

At around 10+, I saw lucky barking at something in the balcony and kept running back to us, i though there could be someone outside at 1st but i remembered that's where the lanterns are.

So i went to check it out and noticed that 1 of the lanterns was slowly burning apart as the candle got lose.

Took it down to extinguish it and kept the lanterns.

Wow, Lucky saved the night last night. Our DarkKnight.
We were able to prevent damages thanks to her.

Stayed up till 3 am to finish the Moonlight Resonance series. Woohoo finally finished it and a pretty good ending. It's a really really good drama although a little over dramatic but it's all good.

Lunar Festival!

Mooncakes

Indeed, tonight's when the moon is the brightest and when everyone can play with fire freely and burn things.

Every kid would have come equipped with a lantern just as if every soldier in the army would be equipped with a rifle. They would be using the lanterns as if Singapore has ran out of power and has eluded the entire Singapore in darkness. Haha yea i love playing with lanterns to but the outcome of most lanterns are the same, burnt to ashes.

Ok that's not the point but it's about family unity today, everyone should be with their family today and well maybe burn some lanterns together.

Well my family? Yup, we bought lanterns and well we have Lucky in the family too. I was thinking of letting her play with Lanterns but, i did the math >>

Well i would find a dog on fire but well the picture was a little too gruesome.

Anyway that would be the most likely outcome if Lucky plays with the lantern unless she can resist tearing the lantern apart but who are we kidding, ask every dog owner out there, they will tell you the dog will show no mercy.

Hahaha.

Went down to Yellow Jello last night to do some band recce, well it's really a retro pub, the drinks ain't that pricey and the band's quite good, "Yellow Tic Tac" if i'm not wrong.

As i look around, i guess May May and I were the youngest in the crowd and most of them on the dance floor were the average of 30.

Man...

But man, the band's good, sangs classics from the likes of Bon Jovi and The Village People, yes they sang the YMCA. I only learnt the dance there from May May and i must say it was fun.

All in all, it's a chill place with a good band but if you are looking for hot babes to look at, try other bars or if you are into older women then it's ok.

Well we were there to only check out the band and one of the singers look like the lead singer from Goodfellas, i think, as it sounded like him , and talk like him, and sang that Beyond song just like him.

Impressive

Wow

That's the simplest word i can use to describe my feelings to the China's 60th birthday celebration.It was awesome and freaking impressive. I was lucky enough to be able to catch it on the CCTV channels.

Man it was beyond awesome. The morning events were impressive, the army contingents and their showing off of their country's military might.

They were showing off their huge arsenal of weapons and vehicles. Pretty much made our army feel very small. However how can you compare, China holds 1/3 of the world population and bottom line they have more people and more fundings.


Like i told May May, this was 1 of my favorite part of the parade. The all-Chinese women militia. It's also on the front page of today's Straits Time.

It was both nice to watch and impressive at the same time. Of course i was talking about the marching, what were you thinking.

To summarize the day parade, it really send shivers to my bones thinking, a country that has advanced so much over the course of 60 years, a country where products that were made in China are now made by China.

What will they be able to accomplish in another 10 , 20 years time.

Now let's talk about the night parade, woah, it really put our Singapore NDP shows to shame and i mean real shame. Our NDP looks like a joke compared to theirs. I know i know.

We hold it every year blah blah blah but the thing is, if our NDP is that important,why have commercial breaks? Even the China National Day doesn't have commercial breaks.

To see it at another light, if we don't have commercial breaks, then NDP would have no sponsors thus no show.

I have a solution of our NDP problems, hire Zhang Yimou. The famous Chinese director who did shows like Curse of the Golden Flower and directed the China's 60 National Day parade. I bet he can do a much better job than what the other sucky directors have ruin of NDP for years.

All the lousy dancers we have every year performing? Replace them with professionals or people who can dance and get the soldiers to do the impressive change of light effects and the impressive fireworks.



and 1 more thing, don't get "has-been" performers to perform again and again every year.

My 2 cents on that.

I don't hate our National Day parade but man seriously we should update our shows and really improve the quality, not everybody wants to watch it now and well it's never too late to improve.

All in all, the parade was impressive
