Wednesday

TV

Yup, that's what i filled my whole day's time table with today. Man there were a lot of shows to watch on Cable today plus shows i've recorded, no it ain't porn.

It just came one after another and i made time to work out today and of course playing with Lucky or should i say, let her roam free around the house, to entertain herself and pee pee in hidden spots. We kinda made an agreement that you can do that everywhere except under my bed.

So far she hasn't done that but once she poo poo under my bed and i did not know maybe bout a week later, my mom told me it was as hard as rocks.

I guess left me a good present after all.

__________

It's Wednesday and of course Singapore Idiots is on today. Man, wtf, seriously, they aren't very good at all, except a few, 1 or 2.

Really needed that for some of the performances.

And man i can't stand it when they butcher my favorite songs 1 by 1 like what that Kbox fucker did to Bon Jovi's "You Give Love A Bad Name".

What kind of version is that, like what Dick said, he gave rock a bad name.

You might have read the paper that the 7-11 boy, Taufik screwed up singing our national anthem on F1 race day, Sunday if you don't have a calender.

OK let's do the math,

Taufik speaks Malay, the song's in Malay,
then, how come man? Worked at the 7-11 counter for too long?

Anyway, no one there really bothered and well most would not have caught the mistakes as well, to be honest, they were more focus on the race then to pin point the 7-11 boy.

AS usual i have nothing against him but well he falls under the Singapore Idiot section anyway.

___________

Tomorrow's China 60th anniversary and man, it's a huge event.

Caught the news report on CCTV bout their preparation for the parade.
All the involved personnel have to report by 2.30 am and well prepare till show time at 9.30am.

The new report even gave us 10 reasons to catch the parade.
Well for Singapore's national day, i guess they only gave 1 >>

1. Every other channels will be showing the same thing, you can't run away.

Haha chill patriots, I Love Singapore too but man you should really try to improve the parade shows, hint, get professional performers, not all school kids, and a better line up of singers, heck get Beyonce, NDP Rocks.

Well i'm sure may have pissed off 1 or 2 people now but it's onlythe way i feel and maybe many many others feel.

UPdate

Fun

That's what i have been having over the past few days. Went to catch The Inglourious Basterds with May May yesterday.

A little long but i like the show. It's violent, no less from Quentin Tarantino style of directing and he somehow added humor in it too. Kinda like Pulp Fiction but in World War 2.

The character Brad Pitt plays. Endo, haha he's just 1 Vigilante Basterd. Well that's how they spell the word anyway.

All in all, it a good show but if you cannot stand long dialogue or lot's of blood, then it's not for you but the acting in this show is great, do look out for the German Colonel, he's 1 sly character.

_______________

Something i stumbled across the internet.

What The Hell?
(click the link, it ain't no virus)
Well seems like the japanese would do anything to have fun with girls. Well it proves a point that they don't really see girls there as people but rather as objects of fun but seriously? Marketing stuff like that out to people.

Well a new form of affordable entertainment huh?

Well who am i to judge, the Japanese have gave us lots of cool inventions or products like the PS3, Nintendo, Av girls, correction tape, Av girls, and lots more.

So well i guess we should close 1 eye on the situation.

Just something to share.
___________

Well that's what i got today :)

Weekend fun

Marathon

Yup went through a Hong Kong Drama Marathon with my folks on Saturday Night, Moonlight Resonance. Man my mom said "keep watching, keep watching". So we watched a entire disc worth of episode.

Truthfully, i wanted to know what happened next too. Ever since i started watching Hong Kong dramas, it makes our local Drama look like crap.

Our local dramas are always full of bad acting, lousy script and the over -used Rape scene which is a little overrated now. Looks like script writers went for the same upgrading course, "How to write a rape scene".

Well there were a lot of eye watery moments in the Moonlight Resonance as they focus on family and the issues family goes through.
Well to tell you the truth, no local drama have ever made me feel this way. Sure, they do have a few good local dramas once every few years, kinda like the World Cup but don't you think it's about time we fire the old directors and employ better ones and make sure the cast can carry the script.

You see, mediacorp knows that our local dramas can't really stand on it's own so we get lot's of foreign shows to fill the time-slot, which always generate better ratings or use the winning formula, Comedy which I think what we Singaporean are good at. Every Singaporean has a funny bone in them.

But due to the strict broadcasting law we have here, a lot of jokes have to be tonned down thus destroying the funny factor of it. Well the law is there for a reason i guess and not every Singaporean are as open minded as the others, some people only seen the void deck of their outside world and are unwilling to travel beyond that.

Back to the point, we still have a long way to go to match the standards of shows like Moonlight Resonance.

______________

How did you all spend your F1 Sunday?

Ask me ..ask me :)

Haha , I had steamboat, or i call it it F1 Steamboat at home.

Man it was awesome, beer, hot food, F1, My family, May May and Lucky.
The perfect union.

The race was not too bad, full of drama and action and after bout 2 hours, Lewis Hamilton won eventually(which is the only driver the Singtel Grid Girls recognizes) ,sadly.

Overall, it was entertaining to watch and well we were too full to think anyway.

Haha.

____________

I hope you had a fun F1 Sunday too :)

Lucky's Day Out

Shivering

That's was how Lucky was when we brought her out to Vivocity today. N she wasn't cold.

This is my trying to eat her...:P

We wanted her to get more exposure but well she would always be shivering, i guess she just not used to the surroundings.

Some effect i did with my Iphone and yea she glare at me like that when i tried to take a picture of her.

Headed to the pet shop to get her a new bowl and my folks brought Lucky around while i roam around the plains of Vivo. As usual, it was hard to walk around as the pathways are at times too small with peoeple who walk walk so slowly and jam up the path.

So as i was walking around, this girl approached me, I though she was trying to sell me something.

Actually, she was part of the casting crew for the HP Space reality show.
I'm sure some of you have seen the ads or seen Nuffnang promote it.

Initially i rejected the offer but i had a lot of time to spare and well my ego took over, which is always good.

So i agreed and went for the audition. I had to improvise what i had to say under 1 minute and well i must say they did not give me much time to prepare but i managed after 2 takes.

It was kinda weird being filmed out in the open with a lot of people staring at you, for something you did not rehearse for but well i had prior experience to it so all i had to do was to focus on the camera and ignore the rest, unless of course, a hot girl walk by, then well..haha.

Not putting my hopes on it but at least i tried.

So i met up with my folks and Lucky again and headed for dinner at kallang.

It was hard eating there with Lucky constanly moving around the bag. Mind you that the seat's small so if she moves too much to a certain direction, she will fall.

I can't blame her for being so curious and all.

_______

So well i hope it was a fruitful day for Lucky today even though she was shivering a lot but she did see a lot of thing.

Maybe next time I'll bring her along for a jog.

Vroom!!

"I feel the need, the need for SPEED"

Vrooom!! and they disappear.

Appearing in front of you less than a second.

However you cannot put a price on the vibrations, the smell of burnt tires and the need of speed~

Yup, we got the tickets for the Friday's F1 Walk -bout tickets.
Had a heavy dinner at Sakae Sushi Buffet. Mann, we almost weren't able to walk out. Then headed for our designated entrance to experience the F1 madness.

As usual, the heat's there and so were the crowd.
Kudos to the management and security for keeping the flow of the crowd and there wasn't a jam.

We bought the F1 survival kit for 2 bucks but i tell you, it's worth the money, 1, the funds' are going for a good cause and 2,unless you wanna lose your hearing, the ear plugs inside will save your ears.

Well as i told May May, if you want to 100% protect your ears,

swallow it like pills,

HAHA, well i thought she would buy that though.

So this is how you will look like putting this on, well May May has her hair to cover but well it looks as if i have not clean my ears for a long time.

Anyway, look after your ears.
It also comes with a rain coat and a map.

Took a couple of shots here and there and the backdrop is just beautiful.

After walking around for about 2 hours, we made our way to the F1 village and was able to secure ourselves some seats and got some nice refreshments which caused a bomb.

11 bucks for 2 ice-cream and 2 bottle of Pepsi.

But hey, it's better than being all grouchy and thirsty so it's worth the money and trust me, nothing is cheap there.

They should re-name it the "suck your pocket dry" village.

There were alot of performance there to in between the race.

Like the Belly Dancers,

Drummers

They were irritating i must say, wanted to punch 1 of them(as in the drummers).

There were also lot's of vintage cars on display, pretty cool.

So there's everything for everyone there, except for kids though. If they decide to bring a clown in to entertain them, well you will see people like me throwing the clown on the race track for some F1 target practice or some "Mythbuster" experiments.

Haha well yea it's a classy event, don't bring the clowns in.

I have nothing against clowns well i do love the Joker in The Dark Knight.

All in all, it was fun and both of us really had a blast there
.

Haha some more shots,
F1 Fun Fun

Thursday

Slow

That's what i can describe today.

Spend today doing nothing but, watch shows online, Tv(Man The Office is freaking Funny), workout, wrestle with Lucky, play games on the IPhone.

However i did stumble across video, i'm sure some of you have seen it outside the Timberland shops,

well, it's interesting at the same time kinda silly. The tag line is cool,

"If you're not fast, you're food"

Well what have that guy done in the jungle, the raped the Queen of the Jungle?

Or he just was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Haha well, it's just an Advert.

____________

Speaking about Iphone games, man they are fun, for 99 Cents for some, it's pretty cool.
I always though i would be addicted to the games 1st but noooo,

My dear May May got addicted the Dinner Dash and would be so busy playing it till she would be oblivious to what happens around her.

I don't think she would even know if the TV exploded or Lucky have eaten parts of her body.

Well maybe a little game rehab would help.
It would involve love and a baseball bat, haha.

I'm kidding May May, *cough*not*cough*

Cobras Mission

Peace logo,

that's what we were searching for today.

Meet up with David today for some shopping. Well the good thing he finally got his bag and we found a nice wan ton restaurant located at B1 at Far East Plaza, called the Graffiti shop or something. Kinda stupid if you ask me, allow those kids to vandalize the tables and chair, well it's their so called theme.

The 1 ton, i mean Wan-Ton 's not bad and well David was pre-occupied staring at the lady taking our orders.

Well who can't blame him, her ..ar ..teeth were big. yea teeth.

Wanted to buy something from Topman but sadly, just didn't have the mood to buy anything, nothing seems to match or work and the designs all look the same. Just need to get into the groove haha

David got his bag, however, he now has something else in mind, the peace sign, we search high and low for it, travelled from Ion to Heeren and search around that area.

We even went to shops that sells girls accessories, i guess they though we were gay or something. Haha but who cares, i'm secured.

In the end, we were not able to accomplish the task and David went home a little disappointed.

_____________

Got home in time to catch the results show of the Singapore Idiots. Well sadly the person who should go home did not. I rather not say who but everyone has somebody in mind.

Then the stupid 7-11 advert came up, and well did not expect Ken became a sell out, the bad economy forces anyone to do anything.

The ad starts with a guy wearing a helmet dancing till Ken asked him to get lost, then the masked man took out his helmet,

guess who..

Taufik. The 7-11 hero.

I guess he got the inspiration from one of the robbers that robbed him while he was working at 7-11.

FYI i don't have any personal grudges against him.
_________
Well i'm freaking tired now combing Orchard today but it was fun, the last "Cobra Mission" as David deem haha, there can always be more.

Grid Girls 09

Live recording,

Yup we were at the Live recording of the Singtel Grid Girls 2009.
Wow i must say, the theater' s much bigger than I thought.

Here with our new friend Joyce.(left of the picture FYI)

Man they made us waited outside for almost 30 mins, the management there weren't as efficient, anyway the air con inside was cold at least haha.

We joined the Cordelia faction which distributed us the ticket. Her father was hardcore, distributed us banners and whistles to cheer for his daughter. Well arming May May and I whistles is a bad idea as, well we were busy abusing it trying to blow each till 1 of us goes deaf.

It was a pageant with a huge budget, sponsored by Singtel who basically has every Singaporean funding *cough*bills*cough*.

I or rather nobody remembered this group of dancers performing on stage.

The big prize was $20,000 and to flag off the race. The sad thing's that, like last year grid girl winner, she will be forgotten. Yea that's a sad fact, well unless you are 1 of those horny bastards who has nothing better to do but keep pictures of girls and has no life.

The Q and A section of the contest, the Achilles Hill for most of the girls in any pageant contest.
Well i'm not trying to say anything but it separate the smart girls from the dumb ones.

The question were funny like the parody of the 'trade-mark' BOOMZ.
The answer they gave, well some sucked while others looked like they bought a book of 1001 pageant questions or the pageant 10 years series and answered it pretty well.

haha I'm kidding,
i think most of the girls only know 1 F1 driver ,Louis Hamilton, well they have to be a 'Fan' of F1 and i bet, out of the 20 girls, nobody can name the drivers that are coming to Singapore or the parts used in the car.

So here's the winner.. and her sould belongs to Singtel for a year.

Overall it was fun, blew till my whistle almost broke and Cordelia came in 3rd, so well at least we weren't cheering for nothing.

That's all i got today..

Starbucks Generation

Starbucks is more like a library now with jc or uni students hogging the seats to study.
We are in the Starbucks generation , or from what I can deduce.

People like me cannot live without Starbucks.
No not because u have a coffee addiction but rather this is a place where I can find my salvation, to kill time. Nice pies and good drinks plus free Wi-Fi to leech, comfortable seats, the occasional hot babe walking past you or seating around you.

Well maybe I or rather we were influenced by shows like Friends or Frasier where the "coffee shop" scene would appear in every episode.

Kinda gave it the cool factor programed into our minds.

Fast forward to present day, as i'm writing or typing this article, I'm siting at the Starbucks, killing time.

Had my peppery chicken pie and watched movies on my iPhone, reading a book, hanging out here to kill time. A place where nobody tells you what to do and well u can pretty much hang out here till it closes or you when u can't feel ur ass.

Starbucks is spreading like wildfire. Every new shopping centers has it. You can expect a starbucks at almost every corner or orchard or in the city hall area.

It's the same in most developed country.

Maybe we ain't seeing the big picture. Their real goal ain't to intoxicate us with their wonderful tasting coffee but rather to conquer the world.

Tiny cells of Starbucks opening at every corner of the country. When the time is right, the starbucks revolution will take over the world.

Haha well that's my Dan Brown moment with the conspiracy and all.

My point is, the Starbucks generation like you and me is indeed something that define us from the previous generation.

Times are a changing : )

Chilly Saturday

Wet

Yup, a word to describe today's weather.

Well a break from the intense heat the past few days which is always welcome.

Bought myself the new Dan Brown book ,"Lost Symbol", at 38 bucks as MPH was having a promotion and they even gave me a free Mug.
Saved 12.15 bucks from the regular book shop. I guess MPH must have robbed the truck carrying the books so that they can sell it at a cheaper price.

well i'm up to only chapter 3, so far so good :)

Good time killer when i have to wait for May May.

Watched a couple of movies on my IPhone today, Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Defiance.

The Button movie's not bad, good actually. Kinda sad though the ending.

Defiance is more like a docu-movie. It's not bad but just very long and a little slow.

Wow you must be thinking,

"Wow Ben, you must have lots of free time huh?"

I would answer,
"yeah"

Haha :)

Well nothing much to type today, brain ain't working as normal, not like it ever have :p

Timbre pt 2

High

That's what happened to us.

Yup, we went to Timbre to celebrate our 13th month together and i must say, by far the best anniversary dinner, sadly better than our 1 year anniversary's, yea May May, you know.

Had to make a reservation bout 4 days ahead and the seat we had at 1st were too high, quite uncomfortable but they were kind enough to let us change our seats.

There were booze, chicken wings, fries and not forgetting the marvelous Roasted Duck Pizza.

My TV host look

May may version of the TV host look..

May May even gave it 5 thumbs up.(don't ask me where the other 3 thumbs came from)

Well we ate, drank and waited for the band, Goodfellas to perform.

53A lead singer was there too during the 2nd half and they were rocking man haha and yea she sang the Nobody by Wondergirls again, which was awesome too.

They are good. Singing English and Cantonese songs.
I sent my song dedication out but at least they did play our song, about 2 hours later. You could see May May's smile ,cheek to cheek.

I dedicated Blind by Lifehouse btw, freaking awesome song. 1 of May May favorite song.

All in all we stayed till closing and i must say, the Friday crowd's much better though but nevertheless i didn't say it wasn't fun.

We left the place, not being able to walk all straight and all, haha we had to hold onto each other and it was indeed a memorable night.

We freaking crash and burn on the bed when we got home. Well no booze for maybe a day or so. :)

Morning!

Early

Yup, woke up early at 6.30am today, no not for school but for a little jog or more like a run.
Have not done that for a long time.

In the Army, i used to jog everyday as well there is nothing much else to do and sometimes you need a break from the PSP.

So i will spend most of the evening with my buddies running around the camp and well competing with each other a.k.a Dick Measuring.

We would usually finish the run before 9pm, which is when May May would call. I would be breathing heavily when talking to her, catching my breath but she thought i was doing something else *wink*wink*.

Dirty minded isn't she but i love her no less. :)

Well i have not run so intensively for the past 3 months and it was like riding a bike, got a hang of it in no time though not as fast but still good enough.

Anyway, was more of a route recce today.

__________

Thank the lord, they ain't showing Singapore Idiot tonight. At least they are showing somebody who can really sing but dead, Micheal Jackson. I know it's a re-run but it's still a million times watching clowns perform on TV and the Host, Gurmit over-using old cliche to 'stun' the audiences...to sleep i must add.

Gurmit try something different. Singapore loves you but you are making more reason for us to hate you.
You know their ultimate fate, they will work at the cash register or cleaning up 7-11.
Bad news, they will be back next week, oh GREAT!
___________

Another good thing is that Jay Leno is back on the air, woo man i miss his show, will if you don't know who he is,here's a picture of him >

Man i love his jokes, Conan is funny but i prefer Jay Leno.

Universal Ch 99, weekdays at 11pm ..re-runs 6pm.

Talk about free plugging and no, i don't work for Universal.

Tuesday

Simple

That's what i can summerise for today.

It's just like a basic schedule of the day, did my work out, go crazy with Lucky, watch CSI Miami, Psych and Growing Up.

Boring?
Nah, i see it as a time to rest up for the weekend or party planned this week. Yea get a good complexion and smaller eye bags.
Played a couple of games on my IPhone, wow , i'm impressed, for $0.99, you get to play freaking good game, prefect for time killing sessions.

__________

Here's something i need to get off my chest, you know what i hate? Yea i have a lot of things i hate but this is 1 of the many.

I'm sure you have seen people type sentances like this "ILikePie" or " ILikeWatchingTv".
I know i know, i type like that too as a joke topic but not for some people i know.

They would type this on MSN, or Facebook shout out.

They invented the freaking "Space" button for a freaking reason. Use it damm it.

Wait wait, my bad, i should type way,

"UseTheFreakingSpaceButton"

People like you all now falls into the "Space-Barless" People which ranks almost as high as the Singapore Idiots/Idols.

__________
OK enough of that.

Have not post any Lucky picture for a long so here it is>

Ow ain't she cute

Miami

Hooked

Yea indeed i am, i'm hooked onto CSI Miami. Yea i watched in on and off in the past but man since i have time now and AXN is always repeating the show.

Man.. Horatio Cane played by David Caruso, he's one bad ass with his one liners are something i always look forward too every episode.

Nothing is what it seem in every episode.

I like

_________________

Played a new game with May May today. Well it kinda like the guess the number where you have to guess the random number between 1 to 100.

1 of the application i downloaded on itunes have the random feature and when i shake the phone, the 'dice' will roll and a random number will be shown.

So well so we raised the stake, if we can guess the number correctly under 5 tries, the opponent will have to do a forfeit.

So unless you are really lucky or have super psychic powers, it ain't an easy game.

Some of the things we had to do, i had to carry her around the house,
i made her hop around the house like a rabbit >

Cute isn't she...

This is me, having to do 30 push-ups as a penalty with Lucky watching on barking like a Drill Sergeant.

Well it was fun, gonna think of more games to play.:)

Sunny Sunday

Technology

Yea, we have come a long way from inventing stuff like gun powder to the nuclear bomb. Technology never stop advancing as long as there are people out there finding new ways to kill people or to improve lives.

However, as stated above, the world have the resources and ability to invent things that will benefit mankind, like the liquid paper or correction tape, which is a freaking useful invention.

But,

why can't they create wires that won't entangle. I'm sure you know what i mean.

For example, i will roll my ear piece wire it up nicely and put it into my pocket but when i take it out later, it would be totally entangeld and all. I would have to do the 'Rubic' cube thingy to solve the 'Puzzle'.

Yea they did create such "Un-entangable" kind of wires before well it's too pricey.

So well it's up to Japan to come up with another useless invention or we would have just suck our thumb and use those wire manager kind of products.

________

OK enough of that rant,

went to Tiong Bahru for breakfast with my family. Man the food there is affordable and nice. Great day to perk up the Sunday morning.

Went to meet May May after her "work".

Bought my a sound canceller ear piece and trust me, it's freaking good. Man those noisy chatter are no more a threat to me :p

While waiting, i caught Pride and Glory on my Iphone,

Wow, it's a great show. Shows the sides of dirty cops.

Even the people who are meant to protect us do deal with the bad. Well it's a world of distrust after all.

Well i'm a fan of cop movies or shows anyway.

And i'm freaking impressed by the battery life of the Iphone 3GS, man i did not waste my money on it. It's still reading green now after i surfed the net with it, watch a 2 hour plus long movie on it, played games on it, messaged and call.

Man Man

Like i said above, technology have come a long way.
________
Anyway, May May showed me a video of a really really stupid or 'retarded' girl who would be or already is our Miss Singapore World. She will freaking represent us in South Africa.

I won't put the video here as i will really dumb down my blog 3 fold..

but i will put the link.. :)

Video

Well it's in today's Sunday Times.
This is someone so so , ar..hm..finding a proper word, fucked up to represent us, we should have just sent a mannequin to represent us. I have seen alot of stupid people but man, this is another level and is representing us to the world.

I have nothing against her but she's pretty and right now she the voice of the 'mindless girls'.

But who am i kidding, Singapore never win the contest but hey we shouldn't stoop that low because of that 'bribe'

Haha

__________
Well that's all i got today

Satttt

Hot

That's the weather today. Had to stay in the belly of Orchard as in the underground to move about.
Man today's weather is just ...furious if you want me to describe it in 1 word.

Wasn't able to head to the Comex IT fair due to some schedule clashes but hey, by the time i reached there, it would be too packed to even move about at the convention halls there.

Got myself an Audio Technica ear piece at Epi centre and beating the crowd.

Orchard was freaking packed today.

The crowd seem to be never ending, it was as if they we 'spawning' from a certain place.
Pretty hard to move around Ion.

Anyway, went to pick May May and headed to Bugis for some Korean BBQ. Our favorite Korean BBQ place. Their Kim Chi there is nice, i like.

But of course nothing comes for free. It wasn't easy getting there. We have to survive the mad dash to cross the road. They should have put a junction near-by of something. So well if you want good food, you must pass that 'test'.

Haha took some random pictures today. I bought this shirt from Zara about a year plus ago. My 1st time wearing it today.

haha don't be fooled, i'm not actually wearing a suit. It printed and i thought it's pretty cool :)

Played around with my IPhone camera and took a shot and showing this gang sign. Yea how original. haha ow but no matter i still love you.

Well a fruitful Saturday,

that's all i got today.

Timbre

Fun

is what i had with my fellow buddies at Timbre@substation yesterday.

If you don't know where Timbre is, it's well somewhere near SMU.

Man the pizza there's awesomeeeeee. Cannot get enough of the Roasted Duck pizza. I know what you are thinking,

Roasted Duck Pizza? Who eats pizzas with duck? that's absurd.

Indeed, it's East meet West , or somewhere around there, and the fusion, Greatness.

A must try when you go there.

The drinks like they told me, was the killer as it's pretty pricey but at least the food's cheap.

The band playing 53A, i 1st saw them perform at the Ignite concert.

A nice shot of her.

Their covers were great so i did not expect any less when they were perfroming yesterday at Timbre. They did not disappoint. They were great and witty, taking requests and even sang Nobody in Korean and even Hokkien songs. Guess they are a living JukeBox.

Too bad i couldn't stay to listen to our requested song but there's always next time.

Really had fun chatting and keeping updated with each other and the booze keep coming , which was a plus.

Another great thing bout that place was that it has wi-fi too, so we were busy facebooking each other just for the fun of it and even entice 1 of our friend to join us. We are so "advanced" ain't it?
haha

Ah Q brought along his polariod camera

Classic ain't it

which i though was pretty cool until when he started using it. The flash is kinda like the anti- vampire device. So freaking bright. We could all have easily been blinded. Maybe that's his goal, to blind us and steal our food. Haha Ah Q( if you are reading this, i'm just kidding, don't eat me:p)

Man i really had a lot of fun, credits to Rachel and Steve for some of the shots and yes i 've uploaded them to FB.

Stayed till around 1.15am and off to pick May May up.

Well i hope we can do this more often :)

That's all i got

Everyone has them. It may be your parents, cat, dog, mouse or the comic book character.

We use people like them to somewhat programme or set the core values of your characteristic.
Well there are some who takes it too seriously and dress up like them thus creating a group of losers..i mean a group called Cos-Players. No offense but the entire world think you are losers who have nothing better to do with your money and dress up as your hero or any other character.

You think dressing up like that will give you special powers of sort? Will it every benefit your future for this time consuming hobby well maybe in Disneyland as Mickey or Donald.

I can't say i have nothing against Cos Players but sometimes you don't look like the character and instead you ruin the character, what should be sexy might turn out different if you know what i mean.

Well that's the evolution of your childhood hero.
My point is that, the hero you adore should reside in your heart and mind and not take it the next level and dress up like them.

Well like i say everyone has them, mine's Batman, what's your's?

OK enough of that, finally my Iphone 3GS have arrived. Bout freaking time if you ask me.

Man i love it, i love it.

It has everything i want in a phone from games to music and a smooth touch screen, unlike somebodies HTC Diamond. You need to use a hammer for the screen to respond.
I have to get used to the typing in it but other than that, it works the same as my Itouch.

Here's a funny video from Smosh, haha they are funny indeed. I hope it brings a smile to your face :)
Well it's kinda true if you think about it.

Fine Prints

Have you gotten yourself into a situation where you get a voucher with too good to be true deals? Like a 50% off coupon. The the fine print, "only if you purchase this car"

Yea i'm sure you have and i'm sure May May have always been fooled by such coupons.

Well this marketing gimmick must have a limit though who know next time in future,
"Dine for free!" - sounds good huh?

Then the fine print..

"only if you kill the friend/s you bought along"

_________
Anyway,

just caught Singapore Idiot just now, well at least some were better than last week but here's what i don't get,

Voting starts when the show start. So people are already voting from them before they start singing.
Doesn't that means that people ain't voting for the better singer but who pays more people to vote for them?

Well who are we kidding, you really think Singapore Idol or any Idol show around the world really vote for the talented one to win? I guess their goals are much clearer than before, to earn as much money for the over priced voting charges.

_________

Met May May for dinner at The Asian Kitchen again, 3 times over the course of 2 weeks but i must say the food there's not bad.

And if you don't know, it's 090909.

yea so a picture to remember a date that will only come once a millennium >>

Haha

That's all i got today..

Stone Age

Power outage

No, not because the bills weren't paid, they were re-wiring the place to me Batcave... ar i mean home.

They cut the power at 8.30am so i had to get up earlier to shower and blow dry my hair and all. So indeed they cut the power at 8.30 sharp.

Went down for breakfast with Mom which i have not done in ages.

In this day of age, all of us are spoilt by creature comforts(C.C) and most are run by electricity. To do the math..

C.C - Electricity= You Are Screwed

Well most of you must be thinking.

"You served your time in army where at times you are stripped of creature comforts, so why can't you survive without it?"

My answer to that,

I'm not longer in the army so why do i have to torture myself.
Tell me what you do without electricity at home?
You can't surf the net, watch Tv, play PS3,..etc

Of course i could read a book on creating alternate energy or just stare blankly at the wall with Lucky.

So, i grabbed my laptop and headed to the Starbucks at Marina Square to leech on the power there and to kill time.

I ordered the Green Tea Latte.

It may look like a cup of algae but it's a cup full of green tea greatness.

I stayed there for around 7 hours, talk bout free loading. My personal best timing there but it's nothing to be proud off. Spending the time there watching Hong Kong dramas and well 'bird-watching', if you know what i mean.

For lunch i had the Perry Chicken Pie. Woo man, it was good but $3.90 for it is a little over the top.

The bad thing bout staying there 7 hours alone, nobody will watch over your stuff, they say Singapore has a low crime rate, but seriously who can you really trust out there. Be safe than sorry.
Of course not being able to leave the table means, you can't go to the toilet. Yea it was a little miserable judging that you had a cuppa and it was cold but in the army, they do help train you a little for such situations.

Neither did i use a rubber band nor a water bottle.

Well i'll keep it to myself :P

Too bad May May couldn't join me, she's busy with school but well i can always entertain myself. Headed to do a little shopping and to search for a book at Borders.

Well you could say, it was a eventful time wasting day today.

That's all i got today.
