RAPTURE!!!

Headed to Marina Square to catch the Jackie Chan's New Chinese Movie, Little Big Soldier. Well it was ok, nothing that great but still watchable, well to me at least it was much better than the,The Spy Next Door, which made Jackie look like Barney the dinosaur.

All in all, if you are in for a great time and some pretty cool action sequence or just for Wang Lee Hom, then you should watch the show.

However, they showed a trailer of Matt Damon's new action packed military movie, The Green Zone. Directed by Paul Greengrass, the same guy who did The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum.

I was watching Memoirs of The Geisha last night and well it was a snooze fest for me, I was more interesting it staring at the ceiling lights. Don't get me wrong, the acting is good but so boring, the MadTv parody beats this hands down haha.

Here's another thing I want to rant about. Don't you ever find it strange that Channel 5 must always show the 9.30pm News?

They would have to split the movie into 2 parts just because of the news. So this is what, I guess, Mediacorp thinks that is going through the key demographic mind

"Oh boy, it's 9.30 and I sooo need the news, but my hands cannot reach for the control to change to the channel that is dedicated in telling us the NEWS in ASIA."

So what gives splitting the movie into 2 parts when we have Channel NewsAsia to do that?

Well maybe they paid too much for their news presenter or something as you know, Mediacorp is pretty good at wasting money, funding shows like Polo-boys, Singapore Idol, boring Channel 8 dramas and so on.

So well yea that's my 2 cents on the long rant.

What I Did Today?

Well the day started late as I snoozed till the afternoon after sending May May to the Airport.

Besides stoning the rest of the day, I pop my new game, The Darksiders into the PS3.


It is indeed a freaking awesome game. Kinda like Devil May Cry but with a much better story and cast. It was so diffcult to get my hands on it, it was sold out in so many other stores.

I guess I spent 10 hours playing it today man. Woo longest I spent sitting down playing for a long time.

I guess it's one of my many ways to kill time and enjoy myself when May May's not around.

Last week, Lucky was feeling under the weather. Ever since she got back from the groomer. Besides that, she was acting all Emo and all. My assumption? They must have treated her roughly there or did something to made her feel that way.

Mucus were dripping from her nose. Brought her to the vet.

Mount Pleasant Animal Clinic

Well had to register her and all and boy there were a lot of animals there on a Sunday.

Doctor's diagnoses, it isn't flu nor is she sick. The doc just gave her some Vitamin C pills and told her to get some rest.

So after that, May May and I went to do some exploring around the Vet.

Here's something odd,

A siren on top of the vet clinic?

Yea if it sounds, won't the animals inside go nuts?

Or maybe, just maybe, it is used to warn us when the animals all turn into Zombies?

Hm..
Haha

Then we saw this strange poster of food that cleans dog teeth.


First off, I do know of such product , the only problem I have with this poster is the dog.

It looks likes it had crack and bought every toothbrush from the store for no reason what so ever.

Beside those I'm glad that Lucky's alright and she is doing much better now.

Headed to The Cathay to catch Law Abiding Citizen.

A freaking good movie I must say. Kept me at the edge of my seat and at certain point, I jump off my seat.

There was a certain scene in the movie, I will try to make it spoiler free, when something unexpected happened when a person put the device onto the ear and it exploded.
Everyone in my row jumped, including me.

Man May shouted " Why did we watch this show, we should have watched the Tooth Fairy!" ,right after she jumped from the seat.

It was classic.

Haha well she will kill me when she reads that but she's a few thousand miles away from Singapore. Unless she sent a cruise missile to bomb me..hm..

Weekend

Wooo man, you cannot imagine what I had.

Drinks at Double O are dirt cheap man, I presume they must have stolen the goods or dealed with the mafia. Shots for 3 Bucks each?

How great is that, we had shots after shots and booze and heck we even got free booze from some gay dude which I did not find out only after the place closed.

Let's just say, we were pretty lucky we did not have to bend down to grab something on the floor if you know what I mean :p

That said, Double O crowd pretty much sucked. They were party zombies. They just party but do not know how to have fun. Music's not bad though even though the house music was pretty irritating.
Such a pity the crowd suck balls.

We chilled or I mean I crashed and burnt at MacDonald. My buddies tried to feed me something to fight the drunk-ness. It was amazing though, we crossed a couple of roads safely and some how did not get into any fights or destroyed anything.

Then like last time, thrown into a cab and fell asleep in it.

Woke up and saw the meter, $30 bucks!!!!

WTFFFFF!!!

The fucking cab driver took me for a ride which would usually only cost me less then $20.
He was a fucking lousy driver too, I should have barfed in his cab or peeed inside or something.

I 'm gonna walk home next time.......second though I rather just take a cab.

Went to watch the Singapore v.s Thailand match yesterday. Dirt cheap ticket though.

My buddies and I were screaming our lungs out and man were the Thai players are freaking good actors or too tired from their Disco session.

Diving, fainting, ass cramp, etc..

Guess there was a gas leak there or something that only affected the Thai Players.

Dirty tricks to stop our team's momentum. Even though we lost, we did not resort to such dirty tactic just very bad form and a team which cannot seem to connect the dots and score.

Was Singapore chance to score when I took this shot and once again they disappoint.
So that was the final score but like I said above, we did not resort to such dirty tactics.

The fun did not stop there, caught a late night movie, 2012 after that.


The show was alright. The special effect saved the show though.

The story's simple with the usual disaster cliche.

The bad part was that we got row B. Not Cathay row B but Golden Village row B.
Freaking Front Lines.

Our necks we freaking hurting from the 2hours 45 mins movie. At least the seats were comfortable.

All in all it was a freaking good weekend and I so miss my bed to crash on.
