Miami

Hooked

Yea indeed i am, i'm hooked onto CSI Miami. Yea i watched in on and off in the past but man since i have time now and AXN is always repeating the show.

Man.. Horatio Cane played by David Caruso, he's one bad ass with his one liners are something i always look forward too every episode.

Nothing is what it seem in every episode.

I like

Played a new game with May May today. Well it kinda like the guess the number where you have to guess the random number between 1 to 100.

1 of the application i downloaded on itunes have the random feature and when i shake the phone, the 'dice' will roll and a random number will be shown.

So well so we raised the stake, if we can guess the number correctly under 5 tries, the opponent will have to do a forfeit.

So unless you are really lucky or have super psychic powers, it ain't an easy game.

Some of the things we had to do, i had to carry her around the house,
i made her hop around the house like a rabbit >

Cute isn't she...

This is me, having to do 30 push-ups as a penalty with Lucky watching on barking like a Drill Sergeant.

Well it was fun, gonna think of more games to play.:)

Sunny Sunday

Technology

Yea, we have come a long way from inventing stuff like gun powder to the nuclear bomb. Technology never stop advancing as long as there are people out there finding new ways to kill people or to improve lives.

However, as stated above, the world have the resources and ability to invent things that will benefit mankind, like the liquid paper or correction tape, which is a freaking useful invention.

But,

why can't they create wires that won't entangle. I'm sure you know what i mean.

For example, i will roll my ear piece wire it up nicely and put it into my pocket but when i take it out later, it would be totally entangeld and all. I would have to do the 'Rubic' cube thingy to solve the 'Puzzle'.

Yea they did create such "Un-entangable" kind of wires before well it's too pricey.

So well it's up to Japan to come up with another useless invention or we would have just suck our thumb and use those wire manager kind of products.

________

OK enough of that rant,

went to Tiong Bahru for breakfast with my family. Man the food there is affordable and nice. Great day to perk up the Sunday morning.

Went to meet May May after her "work".

Bought my a sound canceller ear piece and trust me, it's freaking good. Man those noisy chatter are no more a threat to me :p

While waiting, i caught Pride and Glory on my Iphone,

Wow, it's a great show. Shows the sides of dirty cops.

Even the people who are meant to protect us do deal with the bad. Well it's a world of distrust after all.

Well i'm a fan of cop movies or shows anyway.

And i'm freaking impressed by the battery life of the Iphone 3GS, man i did not waste my money on it. It's still reading green now after i surfed the net with it, watch a 2 hour plus long movie on it, played games on it, messaged and call.

Man Man

Like i said above, technology have come a long way.
________
Anyway, May May showed me a video of a really really stupid or 'retarded' girl who would be or already is our Miss Singapore World. She will freaking represent us in South Africa.

I won't put the video here as i will really dumb down my blog 3 fold..

but i will put the link.. :)

Video

Well it's in today's Sunday Times.
This is someone so so , ar..hm..finding a proper word, fucked up to represent us, we should have just sent a mannequin to represent us. I have seen alot of stupid people but man, this is another level and is representing us to the world.

I have nothing against her but she's pretty and right now she the voice of the 'mindless girls'.

But who am i kidding, Singapore never win the contest but hey we shouldn't stoop that low because of that 'bribe'

Haha

__________
Well that's all i got today

Satttt

Hot

That's the weather today. Had to stay in the belly of Orchard as in the underground to move about.
Man today's weather is just ...furious if you want me to describe it in 1 word.

Wasn't able to head to the Comex IT fair due to some schedule clashes but hey, by the time i reached there, it would be too packed to even move about at the convention halls there.

Got myself an Audio Technica ear piece at Epi centre and beating the crowd.

Orchard was freaking packed today.

The crowd seem to be never ending, it was as if they we 'spawning' from a certain place.
Pretty hard to move around Ion.

Anyway, went to pick May May and headed to Bugis for some Korean BBQ. Our favorite Korean BBQ place. Their Kim Chi there is nice, i like.

But of course nothing comes for free. It wasn't easy getting there. We have to survive the mad dash to cross the road. They should have put a junction near-by of something. So well if you want good food, you must pass that 'test'.

Haha took some random pictures today. I bought this shirt from Zara about a year plus ago. My 1st time wearing it today.

haha don't be fooled, i'm not actually wearing a suit. It printed and i thought it's pretty cool :)

Played around with my IPhone camera and took a shot and showing this gang sign. Yea how original. haha ow but no matter i still love you.

Well a fruitful Saturday,

that's all i got today.

Timbre

Fun

is what i had with my fellow buddies at Timbre@substation yesterday.

If you don't know where Timbre is, it's well somewhere near SMU.

Man the pizza there's awesomeeeeee. Cannot get enough of the Roasted Duck pizza. I know what you are thinking,

Roasted Duck Pizza? Who eats pizzas with duck? that's absurd.

Indeed, it's East meet West , or somewhere around there, and the fusion, Greatness.

A must try when you go there.

The drinks like they told me, was the killer as it's pretty pricey but at least the food's cheap.

The band playing 53A, i 1st saw them perform at the Ignite concert.

A nice shot of her.

Their covers were great so i did not expect any less when they were perfroming yesterday at Timbre. They did not disappoint. They were great and witty, taking requests and even sang Nobody in Korean and even Hokkien songs. Guess they are a living JukeBox.

Too bad i couldn't stay to listen to our requested song but there's always next time.

Really had fun chatting and keeping updated with each other and the booze keep coming , which was a plus.

Another great thing bout that place was that it has wi-fi too, so we were busy facebooking each other just for the fun of it and even entice 1 of our friend to join us. We are so "advanced" ain't it?
haha

Ah Q brought along his polariod camera

Classic ain't it

which i though was pretty cool until when he started using it. The flash is kinda like the anti- vampire device. So freaking bright. We could all have easily been blinded. Maybe that's his goal, to blind us and steal our food. Haha Ah Q( if you are reading this, i'm just kidding, don't eat me:p)

Man i really had a lot of fun, credits to Rachel and Steve for some of the shots and yes i 've uploaded them to FB.

Stayed till around 1.15am and off to pick May May up.

Well i hope we can do this more often :)

That's all i got

Finally

Childhood Hero

Everyone has them. It may be your parents, cat, dog, mouse or the comic book character.

We use people like them to somewhat programme or set the core values of your characteristic.
Well there are some who takes it too seriously and dress up like them thus creating a group of losers..i mean a group called Cos-Players. No offense but the entire world think you are losers who have nothing better to do with your money and dress up as your hero or any other character.

You think dressing up like that will give you special powers of sort? Will it every benefit your future for this time consuming hobby well maybe in Disneyland as Mickey or Donald.

I can't say i have nothing against Cos Players but sometimes you don't look like the character and instead you ruin the character, what should be sexy might turn out different if you know what i mean.

Well that's the evolution of your childhood hero.
My point is that, the hero you adore should reside in your heart and mind and not take it the next level and dress up like them.

Well like i say everyone has them, mine's Batman, what's your's?

_________

OK enough of that, finally my Iphone 3GS have arrived. Bout freaking time if you ask me.

Man i love it, i love it.

It has everything i want in a phone from games to music and a smooth touch screen, unlike somebodies HTC Diamond. You need to use a hammer for the screen to respond.
I have to get used to the typing in it but other than that, it works the same as my Itouch.

_________

Here's a funny video from Smosh, haha they are funny indeed. I hope it brings a smile to your face :)
Well it's kinda true if you think about it.

Fine Prints

Have you gotten yourself into a situation where you get a voucher with too good to be true deals? Like a 50% off coupon. The the fine print, "only if you purchase this car"

Yea i'm sure you have and i'm sure May May have always been fooled by such coupons.

Well this marketing gimmick must have a limit though who know next time in future,
"Dine for free!" - sounds good huh?

Then the fine print..

"only if you kill the friend/s you bought along"

_________
Anyway,

just caught Singapore Idiot just now, well at least some were better than last week but here's what i don't get,

Voting starts when the show start. So people are already voting from them before they start singing.
Doesn't that means that people ain't voting for the better singer but who pays more people to vote for them?

Well who are we kidding, you really think Singapore Idol or any Idol show around the world really vote for the talented one to win? I guess their goals are much clearer than before, to earn as much money for the over priced voting charges.

_________

Met May May for dinner at The Asian Kitchen again, 3 times over the course of 2 weeks but i must say the food there's not bad.

And if you don't know, it's 090909.

yea so a picture to remember a date that will only come once a millennium >>

Haha

That's all i got today..

Stone Age

Power outage

No, not because the bills weren't paid, they were re-wiring the place to me Batcave... ar i mean home.

They cut the power at 8.30am so i had to get up earlier to shower and blow dry my hair and all. So indeed they cut the power at 8.30 sharp.

Went down for breakfast with Mom which i have not done in ages.

In this day of age, all of us are spoilt by creature comforts(C.C) and most are run by electricity. To do the math..

C.C - Electricity= You Are Screwed

Well most of you must be thinking.

"You served your time in army where at times you are stripped of creature comforts, so why can't you survive without it?"

My answer to that,

I'm not longer in the army so why do i have to torture myself.
Tell me what you do without electricity at home?
You can't surf the net, watch Tv, play PS3,..etc

Of course i could read a book on creating alternate energy or just stare blankly at the wall with Lucky.

So, i grabbed my laptop and headed to the Starbucks at Marina Square to leech on the power there and to kill time.

I ordered the Green Tea Latte.

It may look like a cup of algae but it's a cup full of green tea greatness.

I stayed there for around 7 hours, talk bout free loading. My personal best timing there but it's nothing to be proud off. Spending the time there watching Hong Kong dramas and well 'bird-watching', if you know what i mean.

For lunch i had the Perry Chicken Pie. Woo man, it was good but $3.90 for it is a little over the top.

The bad thing bout staying there 7 hours alone, nobody will watch over your stuff, they say Singapore has a low crime rate, but seriously who can you really trust out there. Be safe than sorry.
Of course not being able to leave the table means, you can't go to the toilet. Yea it was a little miserable judging that you had a cuppa and it was cold but in the army, they do help train you a little for such situations.

Neither did i use a rubber band nor a water bottle.

Well i'll keep it to myself :P

Too bad May May couldn't join me, she's busy with school but well i can always entertain myself. Headed to do a little shopping and to search for a book at Borders.

Well you could say, it was a eventful time wasting day today.

That's all i got today.
