Halloween '09

The end of Halloween.

Man was it fun last night even though it was jam packed everywhere at Clark Quey .

I was on a mission today to whack zombies silly but sad to say, dressing up as a zombie is no longer in fashion.

I can barely even find 1 zombie walking around. Zombie as in costume people, not the drunk ones.

However I did not give up and searched high and low for one and indeed i did find the 'Zombies'.

Yup as you can see, the only zombies are in the screen.

Well at least i did find 'Them'.


I was also there for the Barcardi Event, "Ghoul Night Out".

The title of the event kinda reminds me of my army day, Wednesday nights out. So we are compared to Ghouls huh? Well the are not entirely wrong anyway.

Haha anyway the band as you can see from the picture, they were awesome. The set list they played fit the moment and his vocals is pretty strong.
Carried his notes well. Instruments were good too.

Hm, sadly i cannot remember their name, some pretty funky word. Haha they should work on it.




Took a couple of pictures with some of the more interesting specimen, I mean people.

Yup they are characters from the Alice in Wonderland.


Haha interesting people, had fun chatting with them too. :)




My costume? Haha it 's nothing special but just Devil Horns and it blinks too. Thanks for the horns Annie :)

Hm, does suit me well huh.

Man look how shagged I am, Rebel and Zirca was freaking over crowded. It was a squeeze fest inside there but indeed i made a lot of new friends inside.

Bumblebee, the murderer from the Scream series and ar.. the rest are all fuzzy, I cannot remember.

However i did see a giant cup of orange juice outside of Zirca and Hulk as in "The Incredible Hulk".

Pity him though, he's going to have a hard time washing off his body paint.

I noticed the trend this Halloween has moved on from Vampires, zombies and mummies to terrorists(no kidding), prisoners(maybe they were real prisoners) and Jokers.

Nono not the funny people in your class or workplace but the 'Why So Serious' Joker.

Everywhere you turn, you will see someone dressed or has make up like his.

All in all I had a lot of fun with my buddies and new found friends from another world there.

Looking forward to next year's.

Zombies Beware

Today's Halloween and yea, costume freaks rejoice.

Plenty of them will be around roaming the streets of Clark Quay and maybe under your block.

So well of course, I would have to arm myself later.

My weapon of choice, a baseball bat.

Yea so freaking zombies beware, you won't get my Brain!!!

Oh yea I'm also on a look out for a Witch on Skates.

So do let me know if you see her, rewards will be given.

Yup , decided to jazz up my blog with some music,

check out Coldplay's "Strawberry Swing" music video, it's freaking awesome and the song is great too.

Nothing less expected from Coldplay, a music video that has nothing to do with the song

Other songs for now like," Heartless" by Kris Allen, i love his rendition of it, not that i do not like Kanye or something.

"You Give Love a Bad Name" by Bon Jovi. Yup I'm a Jovi fan after all and well nothing can compare with this song, freaking awesome. Almost every pub will play this song.

And lastly, "Neon Tiger" by The Killers. Man this song is beautiful by itself. The lyrics, rhythm, vocals and instruments all sounds good.

Yea these are some of my favorite songs and if you don't like them, there's always the "MUTE" button, haha kidding no offense, but if you find it too noisy for your liking, you can always press the 'STOP' button located on the 'ITouch' itself.

Man it's a wonder how i could concentrate and perform well in class today after boozing last night. Made a new friend called Jim Beam and man was he strong.

Haha ook for all those who thought i turned gay, Jim Beam is a liquor and it's pretty strong.

Hopes that clears up the air.

Yea was suppose to have another session today but well,my liver was telling me to give him a break by hurting me. Yea for some reason it's hurting but it's alright now.

Nothing a couple bags of pod can't solve....i mean sleeping pills..

phew.

Doreamon!!!

Happened to witness this at the Japanese Supermarket Liang Court over at Clark Quey last Friday, before the fateful session.


So as you can see, it is not like the NTUC or Sheng Shong you see under your block.

They would have this corner for Parents to put their kids to curb their enthusiasm and to just sit there and calmly watch Doreamon.

I got there a little and well i stumbled across this and decided to join them. Heck it was Doreamon in it's original voice and had English subtitles plus i had almost 30 minutes to kill.

Wow, kinda felt like a big baby but well who cares, my skin is thick.

As you can see in the picture, they were more interested in their Nintendo DS rather than watching but unlike them, i was engrossed in the adventure. Maybe they saw it a million times already.
It was nice to watch, humor with a certain sense of justice in a sense that if you get greedy, it will only bite you in the ass.

No wonder May May loves to watch it so much.

Kind of a smart move to install such a place for the kids but unlike most kids you see in the supermarkets now, they actually sit down and watch or play with their DS.

Heck! It helped me kill some time too.

So if you are too early or your friend made you wait, head over to Liang Court basement Japanese Supermarket to watch Doreamon, who knows, you might run into me with my new Japanese Friends !

Boarded this old school lift 2 weeks ago.

Man you do not see lifts like this often anymore as they are upgrading almost every block.

Felt like I was in a time machine. That brought me back to the 70s.

Man don't you want a time machine, like what will you do, save the world or catch shows you forgot to record?

Haha.

Look at the buttons, pretty hard to press them, you might crack a nail just pressing the buttons.

Did this for Michele friend for some project.

Yea they asked for my dream and i wrote "I wanna be Batman" with my kiddish handwriting.

Didn't know they were going to Photoshopped my head onto Batman Body. Looks pretty cool i must say.

Wonder what would happen if i say i want to be Ben 10.

Well i hope it helps them with my dignity at risk, wait...what dignity? My skin is pretty Thick :P

Took a color blind test today and phew and i am not color blind, prefect score. Wow full marks for a test, a rare sight but at least i know i still have my somewhat good eyesight.

My buddy Raveen bought us Red Bull today. On the record, I do not drink Red Bull that early in the morning but i though i should give it a shot. Man i was freaking hyper and so were those who drank.

My brain was moving at a 110% which is a huge jump. It only moves about 60% on a normal day.

Haha i guess we were like monkeys on Red Bull, Red Monkeys huh.

24 + Super Clean Ear Piece

Finish watching 24 season 7 and as usual, a cliffhanger ending.



A freaking good show with the many twist and turns in the plot. Jack Bauer is one bad ass. So many things are starting to unfold. It even link stories from season 1, man freaking good script writing.

Oh well gotta wait till January 2010 for season 8.


Moving on to other series now, House season 6 for the moment.

If you recalled how wasted i was in my previous posts,

I had to wash my jeans due to puke and booze stain.

To my horror, i forgot i left my earpiece inside my pocket. I quickly took it out, hook it into my IPhone to test it out without caring the fact that i could be electrocuted.

Phew, it worked fine and on the plus side, it smelt good. Good as in Good Good. Like a bed of Roses.

Good songs and Smelling good, kinda like how May May smells,

ar..hm..Ok that made me sound like a pervert.
